PRAYER FOR MISSIONERS
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, we ask you to assist us, your loved ones, who accept your call to be Apostle of the Latter Times to offer ourselves to service to you, to our Lord, and to His Church in the spiritual and corporeal works of mercy and the apostolate.
Heavenly Father, with the intercessions of our Blessed Mother and Patron, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, please protect us and empower us in our endeavors to consecrate the temporal world and to do Thy work here on earth, that we may do all for the Greater Glory of God.

The St. Michael Missioners include those men and women who wish to participate as volunteers in one or more apostolates of the Oblates and Missioners of St. Michael or wishes to start a new Apostolate. One does not have to be an Oblate to join the Missioners.

General Prayer Apostolates
Prayer Partner Team: As members of our Prayer Apostolate, Prayer Partners commit to be in prayer for the Oblates and Missioners of St. Michael, the St. Padre Pio Center for Deliverance Counseling, and all our apostolates, staff, volunteers, prayer teams, clients, benefactors, and contributors. The Team also prays for all those who ask questions on our Q&As and for the members of our online communities. The Prayer Partner Team also receives copies in email of all the prayer intentions give to us through our online prayerbooks.

Description of Positions (more detail of these positions and the specifics of your particular interests will be discussed with you directly in interviews):
Correspondent/Writer: The Correspondent/Writer position requires a person to have research skills, to monitor Internet and traditional news feeds and sources for contemporary news items of interest to Catholics and our Website, and depending on which forum the person volunteers, to write reports and articles, and/or reference source material, to submit to our editors for one or more of our blogs (e.g. Hall of Shame, Hall of Honor, Justice Watch, and ProLife), or for one of our Discussion Groups (e.g. Blessed Pope John Paul the Great Discussion Institute), or for an article to be published in our Library.
Research Assistant: The Research Assistant position assists our bloggers and writers in gathering the information needed to write their respective articles. This position requires a person have research skills, to monitor Internet and traditional news feeds and sources for contemporary news items of interest to Catholics and our Website, and to write-up useful summaries of that research to present to our bloggers and writers.
Radio/TV Production Assistant: The Production Assistant position assists in our radio, podcast, video/TV productions. The Production Assistant may do research and gather information that will be presented in the show, assist with screening call-ins, help to produce video or audio clips, or provide other technical or general assistance that is needed to produce and broadcast the show. Production Assistants need to have the requisite skills needed to accomplish whatever tasks to which they volunteer.
Social Network/Chatroom Missioner: The Social Network/Chatroom Missioners position interacts with people on social networking sites, and in chatrooms and discussion boards, on behalf of the Oblates and Missioners of St. Michael. The Missioner promotes a solid, consistent, and loyal Catholic presence in the chatrooms and discussion boards. This is accomplished by informing and educating people on the authentic Catholic Faith and defending the Faith against detractors. The Social Networking/Chatroom Missioners may also act as moderators in our own chatrooms and discussion boards.
Public Relations Assistant: The Public Relations Assistant position works to promote our various apostolates and our society of the Oblates and Missioners of St. Michael. This is accomplished by seeking link exchanges with other websites, apply for inclusion on various lists of websites, seeking endorsements and reviews of our website and apostolate, mentioning, when appropriate and germane, our services and apostolates when posting in Social Networking sites, Discussion Groups, and Chatrooms, and other means of promotion (e.g. promotional products, advertising, etc.).

Much of our site is using blog, BBS, or content management software that does not require knowledge of HTML or other markup languages or knowledge of FTP methods. But, if a job requires knowledge of HTML, PHP, ASP, or other markup languages and the uploading of files, then the following is required:
- must have an HTML editor such as the free Arachnophobia or similar editor and know how to use it. Frontpage cannot be used.
- must have an FTP client such as the free SmartFTP or other FTP client and know how to use it
The following volunteers positions for Website Associates are now open:
Library Master: This position requires a person seek out documents on the Internet or in hard copy (that can be scanned into the computer) that are appropriate for our Library. The Library Master will format those articles into our Library site, or translate documents into pdf format and then insert into our Library. The Library Master will also supervise any Library Assistants. Although it is not required, It is helpful if the Library Master owns a computer scanner to scan hard copies.
Library Assistant: This position requires a person assist the Library Master in his duties. An assistant may be assigned by the Library Master to perform one or more tasks according to the assistant's abilities.
Library Research Assistant: This position requires a person have abilities to research a topic on the Internet and to gather such information for the Library Master and/or the Webmaster and other staff.
Copy Editors: This position is that of a proofreader. The person will browse our webpages looking for typos, misspellings, and grammatical or compositional mistakes. Attention to detail is a must as is good spelling abilities and at least a modest mastery of English grammar and composition.

Catholic Q&A Forum Hosts: Q&A Hosts publicly answer questions posted by the general public on the topics germane to the particular Q&A forum. Applicants must meet all the follow qualifications to be eligible for a Q&A Host position the applicant must:
- have a telephone, email account, and Internet Web access
- The latest version of Internet Explorer, which works best with our text window editor
- be able check his email daily
- be able to answer questions normally within three-five days (provisions are made for vacations and temporary delays)
- be familiar with our Question and Answer Forums, its mission statement and goals, source of authorities, and its Guidelines for Posting, Protocols, and Rules of Conduct for questioners.
- be a practicing Catholic in good standing and loyal and obedient to the Pope and Magisterium in union with the him
- be thoroughly knowledgeable on the topic of the Q&A Forum to which he is applying.
The following positions for our Question and Answer Forum are now open:
Church History Question and Answer Forum: This position requires a person to be experienced and knowledgeable on the History of the Church and how to answer questions from questioning Catholics, non-Catholics, and even anti-Catholics. The applicant must have have research skills in order to find answers to questions asked by the public.
Defending the Faith Question and Answer Forum: This position requires a person to be experienced and knowledgeable on the Faith and how to answer questions from questioning Catholics, non-Catholics, and even anti-Catholics. The applicant must have have research skills in order to find answers to questions asked by the public.
ProLife Question and Answer Forum: This position requires a person to be experienced and knowledgeable on the Pro Life movement and the issues of concern to the ProLife community. The applicant must have have research skills in order to find answers to questions asked by the public.

Spiritual Warfare Apostolate
Prayer Warrior Team: The Prayer Warrior Team provides prayer support for the St. Padre Pio Center for Deliverance Counseling (SPCDC). Team members, who are members of the Legionnaires of St. Michael, a confraternity of chivalry, have access to a private forum where they are privy to some details about our clients and their situations and progress. Thus, this Prayer Team is not for the faint-of-heart.
Team members will belong to a special password protected online community with prayer intentions and information about our clients. This means that Prayer Warrior Team members must agree to and maintain confidentiality. The specifics of any intention cannot be shared with anyone, not even a spouse.

Deliverance Counseling Team: Those Legionnaires of St. Michael who join the Deliverance Counseling Team accept the call of our Blessed Mother, and with the grace of God, to be Apostles of the Latter Times in a very direct way that confronts Satan and his schemes in Spiritual Warfare to help our brethren in need to find deliverance, healing, and freedom in Christ.
