I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the Holy See and to the arms of the current successor of Peter, the Vicar of Jesus Christ, the holder of the Keys to the Kingdom, the universal and supreme pastor over all God's people,

...and to the Magisterium of Bishops in union with him, who together protect and guarantee the Faith through the Keys,

...and to the Holy Catholic Church for which it stands, one, holy, catholic, apostolic Church, minister of God's Seven Sacraments of Sanctifying Grace, under God, protected by St. Michael the Archangel, Christ's bride, infallible in faith and morals, indestructible in the face of the gates of hell, in fullness and fidelity of the faith and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and his apostles, where the truth of God brings the only true salvation, liberty, and justice,

...and to our Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, we pledge ourselves as Apostles of the Latter Times to assist her, and the Church, in crushing the head of Satan, in preaching the Good News of Christ to all peoples and nations,

...and to lead all good pilgrims to a knowledge of the True Church. Amen.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.

chorus
Glory, glory hallelujah!
Glory, glory hallelujah!
Glory, glory hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps,
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps:
His day is marching on.

chorus

I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel:
"As ye deal with My contemners, so with you My grace shall deal:
"Let the Hero born of woman crush the serpent with His heel,
Since God is marching on.

chorus

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgement seat.
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet!
Our God is marching on.

chorus

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me;
As He died to make men holy let us die to make men free,
While God is marching on.
