including, for such purposes, the making of distributions that

corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Past Incorporation Status:
The Order of the Legion of St. Michael was brought into existence
on the Feast of our Lady of Guadalupe (Dec. 12th), 1993 and had its
consecretion Mass on May 9, 1994.
Iowa Incorporation: We submitted Articles of Incorporation for
a non-profit corporation in the State of Iowa on September 20, 1994
The Articles were officially filed by the Iowa Secretary of State on
September 23, 1994, Corporation ID #178982.
Iowa Corporation Dissolved: After incorporating in the
State of South Dakota, Articles of Dissolution in the State of
Iowa was then filed on July 27, 2001 stating that all debts,
obligations, outstanding liabilities, cash, assets, and property are
transferred to the new corporation of the Order of the Legion of St.
Michael, Inc. in South Dakota.
South Dakota Incorporation: On May 15, 2001 we submitted
Articles of Incorporation for a non-profit corporation in the State
of South Dakota. The Articles were officially filed by the South
Dakota Secretary of State on July 9, 2001, Corporation ID #NS011799.
The Order of the Legion of St. Michael received a
Certificate of Good Standing from the State of South Dakota
on May 19, 2003.
South Dakota Corporation Dissolved: On December 30, 2005 the
General Council voted to dissolve the South Dakota Incorporation.
The Articles of Dissolution was filed on March 2006 transferring all
outstanding liabilities, cash, assets, and property to the new
unincorporated Association of the Order of the Legion of St.
Michael. The Association was re-organized
as an unincorporated Association on the Feast of St. Dismus, the
Good Thief, March 25, 2006.
