PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, we ask you to assist us, your loved ones, who yearn for a closer union with God into an ever more intimate relationship with you and with your Son. Heavenly Father, with the intercessing of of Blessed Mother and Patron, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, please help our Community to grow in vocations by inspiring us to pray and to reach out to others, and inspiring those to respond whom Thou has chosen and called to join us, that we together may work for God's glory. Hail Mary --- 3 times |
There are five ways in which a person
may participate
and share in the St. Michael Charism:
Secular Expression
...for lay Catholic men and women interested in consecrating
themselves more profoundly to God
according to their state-in-life. Secular Members
may live anywhere in the world.
Semi-Eremitic Expression
(not accepting applications for this Expression
at this time)
...for Catholic men and women called to the evangelical
counsels and the lay religious life in various forms of solitude
under private vows. Their hermitages may be geographically near
the motherhouse or elsewhere in the world in desert, rural or
urban areas.
Monastic Expression
(not accepting applications for this Expression
at this time)
...for Catholic men and women called to the evangelical
counsels and the lay religious life as covenant brothers and
sisters living in various Monastic Houses under private vows;
and also men and women interested in the monastic lifestyle
as “monastic” singles and families living
on the compound of an integrated covenant community.
Oblates of St. Michael
...for Catholic men and women who are not able, or who are
not eligible, or who are not otherwise called to join the our
Order as full members but wish to share in the spirit of
the Charism of St. Michael according to their state-in-life.
The Three Expressions in the Order of the Legion of St. Michael
each has its own classification of Oblates. The particular requirements
and charism of the Oblates depends upon and is commensurate with the
charism of the Expression to which the Oblate is attached.
Other Associates and Friends of St. Michael
...for men and women of any faith to have an opportunity to
share in the St. Michael Charism
