Last week the colemnist Cal Thomas took aim at Barack Obama's claim to be a committed Christian. Thomas wrote: "He can call himself anything he likes but there are certain markers among the evangelicals he is courting that one must meet in order to qualify for that label."
Thomas supports his argument by quoting from an interview the Illinois senator gave to Chicago Sun-Times religion editor Cathleen Falsani:
"I'm rooted in the Christian tradition," Obama told Falsani. "I believe there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people."
The latter part of that statement, says Thomas, would likely be viewed by most Christians as universalism.
Thomas concludes the column with biting criticism of Senator Obama's statement of faith:
"... [T]here is a clear requirement for one to qualify as a Christian and Obama doesn't meet that requirement," stated Thomas. "One cannot deny central tenets of the Christian faith, including the deity and uniqueness of Christ as the sole mediator between God and Man and be a Christian. Such people do have a label applied to them in scripture. They are called 'false prophets.'"

Since the September 11th Terrorist attack on the United States this country and others have been focused on routing out and destroying terrorist and their violent ways. Indeed the thousands of deaths from the September 11th attacks were tragic and barbaric. Such violent people who seek to indiscriminately kill innocent civilians, women and children, need to be stopped.
But in our crusade to defend the world against terrorism we ought not to forget the secret non-violent terrorism that is infecting our nations. There is a growing number of Muslims immigrating into non-Muslim nations. While immigrants are normally welcomed and the cultural diversity healthy for society, this is not the case with much of the phenomena of Muslim immigrants.
Muslim culture does not fit well, or play well, in a pluralistic and diverse society. The Muslim society is very rigid and intolerant of anything not Muslim. As Muslim communities grow so does their political power. As their political power grows so will Islamic ideas in our laws and policies. This will not bode well for a free democracy.

A recent example of this Islamic supremacism in action (non-Muslims doing it for them) took place when two Christian evangelists were threatened with arrest for committing the "hate crime" of handing out gospel tracts in a predominately Muslim area of Birmingham, England.

Arthur Cunningham, 48, and Joseph Abraham, 65, are both American but have lived in the United Kingdom for many years. They have launched legal action against the West Midlands Police, claiming an officer infringed on their right to profess their religion.
In February, the two men say they were told by a police community support officer that they were in a Muslim area and were, therefore, not allowed to spread their Christian message. They also were told they were committing a hate crime by telling the youths to leave Islam. The ministers also say the officer told them, "You have been warned. If you come back here and get beaten up, well you have been warned."
Robert Spencer is the Director of Jihad Watch, a project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center. He believes this was a de facto imposition of Islamic law in Britain.
"Obviously English law has no restrictions on Christian evangelization or Christian proselytization of any kind. But Islamic law forbids Christians to proselytize, especially among Muslims. So this is a de facto imposition of Islamic law in Britain," Spencer contends.
This Secret Terrorism is a deliberate agenda, but is fueled by the political correct nonsense of non-Muslims who refuse to see what is happening and are thus setting the stage for a
defacto Islamic law to be applied in our society.
This cannot be tolerated. The Muslims have been marauding the Holy Land, Europe, and Africa since the 7th century. It has never stopped. It continues today not only in the overt violence and terrorism, but in the much more dangerous covert way of societal integration and eventual dominance. The target this time include us (the United States).
