I feel compelled to add a few lines to your reply:
These books teach that you can get what you want by positive thinking and creative vizualization. In other words you can force God to give you what you want by using mental techniques. People are deceived into thinking that God's will doesn't exist or is irrelevant and you can impose your own will by various means.
