Re: male spirituality
Dear Brother
I would like to add to the recent post regarding male spirituality.
I read an interesting article on this topic which can be found at:
<a href="http://www.ad2000.com.au/articles/2002/sep2002p8_1115.html" target="_blank">CHURCH ATTENDANCE: The family, feminism and the declining role of fatherhood</a>
The article cites a Swiss survey which asked key questions about the impact of parents' church attendance on the subsequent Church attendance of their adult children, and the direct impact of a father's Church attendance on his children. It also discusses the flight of men from Christian Churches as a result of feminising Church culture.
The findings of this survey are extraordinary !!

Dear Andrew: Thanks for the reference. This again proves that Fathers are indispensable (as opposed to many radical feminists that fathers are ancillary). I remember a news story on one of the major networks that announced that a study had showed that children from a intact traditional family and father and mother had higher self-esteem and more stable than those children coming from "broken" homes. When I heard this my response to the T.V. was, "Well Dah, the Judeo-Christian world has know this for 6000 years." I get a kick out of these people who think such a study has revealed something new. :) Brain research in the last ten years has revealed a similar necessity of the father in the child's life. I guess us men are good for something other than killing spiders and snakes and contributing DNA!
God Bless,
P.S. By the way, the philosophical foundation to the feminization of our culture is fully explained in the essay, Three Secret Strategies |
