When to use Alleluias
Brother Ignatius,
I am confused on the usage of "Alleluia" during Ordinary Time, particularly after the "Glory to the Father."
In the Ordinary, the Alleluia is included after the "Glory to the Father" at the beginning of each Hour, but it is not included after the "Glory to the Father" at the end of the Invitatory. I assume that this is how it should be, I just wanted to make sure.
Also, I can't find any guidance on whether to include the Alleluia after the "Glory to the Father" following each Psalm and Canticle.
Finally, I noticed that there were Alleluias included in the Antiphons for Corpus Christi, in the style of Easter, and I wondered if this has any impact on whether Alleluias are said following "Glory to the Father" on that day?
I just began saying the LOTH during this just completed Easter Season, and your forum has been a tremendous help. I thank you and thank God for you and your community.

Dear Dan: During Ordinary Time the Alleluia is said after the Glory be at the beginning of the Psalm or Canticle, but not included after the Glory be at the end of the Psalm or Canticle. On special solemnities and seasons such as the Easter Season, Corpus Christi, and such you will see the Alleluia included in all antiphons.
