Catholic v. Protestant debate (really)
I have been enjoying this Q and A for almost 4 years now and must say it has helped me in so many ways in my desire to learn and defend the Faith. I also enjoy reading stuff on these types of Q and A's done by Protestants only to know them better and gain insight into how they think as to improve my ability to answer their questions (and sometimes attacks) better, and be able to ask questions to challenge them.
Anyway, in my time reading these questions and talking to people I have always wondered how it would turn out if a very educated Catholic Apologist and a very educated Protestant were to debate, I mean really debate the issues.
Has this ever happened? If so are there transcripts or recordings of the debate available? I am hoping for something similar to a debate I saw a few years ago between Alan Keyes and Alan Dershowitz regarding religion's role in society. I think it would be very interesting to see that type of debate and even have some inpartial (if that is possible) "judges" decide which side is correct.
