Bravo Bro. Ignatius Mary
QUESTION from Ellen on December 4, 2003

I have recently been commenting on a few of the areas in this site after reading for awhile. I beleive many of the Traditionalists writing here truely have the faith, yet with all the changes they may feel the church in real trouble,as many of us do.

The problem is not the Church under the Pope ,or even VaticanII, it is some of the Bishops who have been to indulgent to Priest in parishes making changes they want, and causing fear and confusion in many of the faithfull. The Church it's self is solid, it is the infiltration of New Age mentality, and loss of faith in some cases that is the problem as I see it.

I have read many answers on all the areas here, and find nothing but truth ,and conpliance with the Magisterium, hope splelling correct. I am a cradle Catholic, and not a young one, I have read Papal writings, and many documents of church throughtout the yrs. and the Church is correct, it is some that are to follow through and educate that are lacking.

I do beleive there is a limit to changing to bring Unity. The Truths of the faith in Apostolic Tradition and Dogma must not be compromised. If I myself see that I will be very concerned, yet if there is one faithful to the Truths even if we can't receive at some point, the Church will live.......as you said The Gaits of Hell will not prevail.... You are beautiful Bro.Ignatius Mary, you may have illness of body but your soul and heart are immortal in my eyes..... God has Blessed YOu. Ellen

Dear Ellen:

Thank you for your kind words. I agree that the Church itself is strong and holy. There are forces, however, from both the liberals and the ultra-traditionalist who seek to dissent against the Church and to remold her according to their personal preferences. This is an evil. The Church is what Christ makes it through the Magisterial authority of the keys. That is God's economy.

While things like the New Age and feminism and humanism are great threats to the Church, the most dangerous threat of all, greater than any threat in history is the current movement called "plausibility".

For a complete discussion of this evil movement see the essay: Three Secret Strategies of Satan.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
