Pro-Life Mass
The Pro-Life Committee at our parish is planning a Mass of Healing for those who have lost a child to miscarriage, accident, illness, or abortion. Can you suggest relevant scriptural passages from which we can plan the readings? First and Second, Responsorial Psalm, and Gospel? Any help you could offer will be greatly appreciatly appreciated.

Dear John, This isn't the answer you were looking for, but in my opinion it is best to use whatever readings are assigned for that day in the Lectionary. The instruction does allow though for the priest to choose others readings from an approved lectionary when there are special groups: so I would leave the decision to him. Mr. Slavek |
