Dear Cheri, Even if the book itself has not been blessed I would still treat it as if it were since the text itself is sacred. If it truly cannot be used, burn it reverently until it no longer looks like a book or bury it. I suppose you wouldn't HAVE to do all this, but it is what I would do if I couldn't tape it back together. Mr. Slavek
