mass readings
            QUESTION from jesus on February 6, 2004

My question has to do with The readings of the Novus Ordo Mass being used to substitute the readings of the Tridentine Mass.
Someone mentioned that this is allowed under the Eclessia Dei, but I can't seem to find the information. Could you please help. Thanks.

Dear Jesus,

I have never heard that this could be done. Ecclesia Dei does NOT mention it all all. Maybe your friend is mistaken, or he could provide a reference, but as far as I know the answer is no.
