bondage and breaking free
QUESTION from Sandy on May 11, 2004

Hello Brother Ignatius,

Unfortunatly the previous post was truely a wrong click of the mouse and was sent by mistake. Oh well here is the second part. LOL i guess i shoud have sent those in fifty post after all from the start it seems. LOL :-). God's will be done not mine. LOL.

Ok what kind of bondages can one person have. I have heard many talk about spiritual bondages, physical bondages and psychological ones as well, all of which are very bad and need a ministry for them to be broken.

Here are some examples that i thought were very strange but i need good advises on them. Many of these things i learned from charismatic groups. From which i am picking pieces up of myself right and left trying to make sens out of a million things. Thank you for all your help through the many other answers you gave to me while giving them to others :-).

Here are some things i would like to have feed backs on.

1) Blood brothers within sects, could that be physical bondages including in this tranference upon simply touching others, addictions, body parts that were taken or given in sacrefice? What els would fit in this category? Assuming i am right in what i was told about this.

2) bondage from enscesters, sins and satanical consecration of furure generation, of which we may belong to, would be spiritual and physical bondages.

3) addictions, divination powers. spirits controling the imagination and so forth could be psychological bondages as well? What about repeated rituals on one person that are now classical conditionning?

As you can see there are many things that mentions bondages but the term is often maybe miss used in many cases.

I hope your previous post will help me take a few questions out of the way. Now as for the breaking of these bondages and retaking grounds. How can one break out of these mentioned above specially when dealing with the so called physical links. Often to ask Jesus to cover us with his prescious Blood works well and special prayers. But, what about when there was a certain humain sacrefice like in voodoo where pieces of body or talismans are kepted to continiously harm the person by sending curses to the person through them???? what about thoses.

Wow so many questions. Sorry for this, I guess it was good to seperate it from the others.

well feel free to answer as to not answer. Lot's of information in this one. My brain is in overload.

God Bless You.

Dear Sandy:

A person can be in bondage to any sin. A bondage is sort of like an addiction; something that one keeps doing and has a hard time stopping.

On your question #1: a blood brother is usually a couple of kids making a pact of friendship. I am really not sure what you are asking.

Addictions are often connected with a demonic bondage in addition to the physical or psychiatric aspects.

The issue of transference of a demon from one person to another can happen when laying hands on someone, or when a crime is perpetrated against someone, as in the case of rape.

On your question #2: Generational demonization is one of the most common reasons people find themselves in harassment, or even bondage and demonization.

On your question #3: As already mentioned bondages are similar to addictions. Anything one can become addicted to may, perhaps, make one vulnerable to a spiritual bondage correlating to the physical or psychological addition.

Participating in occult acts like divination, the Ouija board, Tarot Cards and the like are common entry points for demonization and bondage.

As for breaking these bonds and retaking ground the person must get rid of any talismans or anything else of the occult and begin to live a good Christian life. The prayers found in our SW Prayer Catalog may get a person started on that road to freedom. If that does not work to break the bonds, then formal Deliverance Counseling would be warranted. The same goes for curses and spells that have been perpetrated upon a person.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
