nightly demonic haunting
Hi, my name is melody..and first i am going to tell you the story.
My friend has been having a problem since she was a little girl, but just worked up the courage to tell somebody. Everynight this tall dark featureless figure appears in her room...he has long black (everything is black) sort of wavy hair.
For the frist few years i am pretty sure it is safe to say he just sort of, in a sence, levitated there...and stared at her. When it shows up in her room she can not move anything, except occasionally her fingers, and she can not talk, all she could do is think and stare, she can't take her eyes off it.
Just recently it started to go after her, holding her shoulders to the bed, reaching at her, moving her fingers, etc etc. Last night i stayed the night at her house and through talking and finding things out we realized that when her mom was a kid she saw the same figure, EXACT SAME, this scared us, but made us wonder more.
Well, when we were sleeping me and my friend christina fell asleep befire her and were suposed to be on eaither side of her...at about 4:00 i woke up frightfully in a deep sweat launched up in a gasp, and in my mind i was thinking CHRISSY! then i leaned over nudged christina thinking it was crissy...but it wasn't so i went to the top bunk where she normally sleeps started feeling for her but she wasn't there. Then i prayed my self to sleep.
At about 5:30 i woke up from a dream that scared me so bad i was shaking at how real it was. The figure had came in the room and was coming after me and at frist i couldnt get anything out...i couldn't fall to sleep after that dream so i turned o nthe light and stayed awake. then next morning crissy said at about 4:00 (when i woke up in the deep sweat) i hadn't told her about it mind you, was win it showed up in the room she was in. and at about 5:15 (around the time i had the dream) it was reaching at her.
I don't know what to do, i gave her the saint michael prayer but i don't think it will help to much..

Dear Melody: I am sorry to hear that your friend is experiencing these things. We will pray for her. We need to be careful about automatically assuming that this is a demonic attack. There are two natural phenomenon that can also be the possible causes of her experience: Cataleptic somnambulism and hypnagogic hallucinations. The latter is commonly associated with Narcolepsy, and it is quite possible that your friend could be suffering from that condition. You may want to consider talking to her about consulting her doctor about this issue. The fact that her mother experienced these things is significant to some extent and could indicate a possible generational demonization problem. However, we need to also keep in mind the power of suggestion. It is quite possible that Mom told the daughter about her experiences which planted a suggestion in the daughter's mind. This subtle but powerful suggestion could possibly be the root of the problem. As for what you experienced during the sleepover, it is possible that you, being aware of your friend's situation, "psyched yourself out" and experienced what you experienced due to emotional and psychological stress. So, having said all of that, is it possible that this is a demonic attack? Yes, it is possible. Demons can cause these types of experiences which can easily be indistinguishable from the natural phenomena of cataleptic somnambulism and hypnagogic hallucinations. In cases such as this, we do not necessarily need to know which is occuring - the natural or the supernatural - because the answer is the same for both: Prayer. In addition, as I said earlier, you may want to consider talking to your friend about being evaluated for possible sleep disorders. The Saint Michael prayer that you gave your friend, when said with faith, is a powerful weapon against the enemy, and you should not doubt its effectiveness. If this is a demonological issue, the Saint Michael prayer is one of the best that you could have given her. Speaking the name of our Lord Jesus Christ is also highly effective at stopping demonic attacks.
