iraq
I was in Iraq for the war, and now we will be going back in august for 6 months to fallujah, the "hottest" city in iraq as far as insurgent activity is involved. I feel this time i may not come back, how will god forgive me for what i did their and will have to do again, it's my duty, but i guess i'm just looking for a answer.
thankyou

Dear Sir: God forgives anyone of anything when the person asks Him for forgiveness. He understands that you are doing your duty as a Marine. I was in the military too, a long time ago. The best thing to do is to do your duty without hesitation for your life depends upon that, but also to pray morning noon and night not only for your own safety and the safety of your fellow Marines, but for forgiveness for what you have to do. Be not Afraid! God understands your duty and knows your heart. We will be in prayer for you while you are in harm's way. May God bless and protect you, may the Archangel St. Michael, and your Guardian Angel be every vigilante in protecting you, and my our Blessed Mother watch over you.
